AirportTips is operated by Apron North Pte. Ltd., a company in Singapore, from 20 Collyer Quay, #11-04 Tung Centre, Singapore 049319. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our website and the AirportTips app. We treat the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) as our baseline.

What we collect
If you request a download link through the registration form, we collect the name and email address you submit, and a phone number only if you choose to provide one. We also record that you consented to receive app updates and travel rule alerts. We do not require an account to use the app itself, and we do not collect payment details because AirportTips is free.
When you visit the website, our servers may log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you open. This log data is used to keep the site secure, diagnose faults, and see which pages are useful. We do not sell mailing lists and we do not build advertising profiles from this information.
If you write to us by email or phone, we keep the correspondence and any details you include so that we can answer you and follow up if needed.
How we use personal data
We use your information to send the AirportTips download link, to send app updates and travel rule alerts if you opt in, and to reply when you contact us. We may also use aggregated, non-identifying statistics about site use to improve AirportTips. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing, and we do not share it with airlines, travel agencies, or government bodies except where the law requires us to do so.
If you later unsubscribe from alerts, we will stop sending those messages. We may still keep a minimal record of your request so that we can honour the opt-out and show that we had a basis to write to you in the first place.
Sharing and retention
We may use trusted service providers who host our website, send email, or store backups. They may process personal data only on our instructions and only for AirportTips. We do not sell personal data. We keep registration details for as long as you remain subscribed to updates, and for a reasonable period afterwards if we need the record for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Server logs are kept only as long as they are useful for security and operations, then deleted or anonymised.
Security and your rights
We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to people who need it for their work.
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or withdraw consent for optional uses such as alerts. You may also ask us to delete data we no longer need. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected] with enough information for us to identify you. We may need to verify your identity before we act. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
Cookies, children, and changes
The website may use cookies and similar tools as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted details to us, please contact us and we will delete them.
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Continued use of AirportTips after an update means you have had a chance to read the revised terms. If a change is material, we will note it here.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. AirportTips is a reference tool, not a government service, and using it does not create any reporting relationship with any authority. To exercise your PDPA rights, write to [email protected].
